The Buoys Are Back!

Friends of the Apostle Islands (with the help of the Bayfield Yacht Club) has once again deployed five wave buoys across the Apostle Islands. Each buoy transmits wave height, period, and direction as well as surface water temperature refreshed every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day. Data is free for boaters and is available at https://friendsoftheapostleislands.org/ or by scanning a QR code (free stickers or clings with the QR code are available at the marina store or by contracting Friends of the Apostle Islands, 715-449-6900 or info@friendsoftheapostleislands.org.
